Fairhaven is in the west of Joriah, west of the city of Aerilon and east of the port town, Tarrinport.
Summary
Fairhaven is the first village west from from the city of Aerilon and mostly exists as a rest stop between the city and the kingdom's port town. They only have a few small farms, mostly cattle and chickens, but are able to sustain their population through trade as it is one of the few perks of being along the main road of travel for incoming and outgoing merchants and products. The town is looked after by an elected Mayor and a few council members which enables the locals to have a larger say about their town, as decreed by the Merchant-King of Joriah. Fairhaven is a calm but hardy town, they are better at defending themselves than you might think, but will rarely be the origin of violence.
Taverns
Turnpike's Lantern
- This large tavern can be found towards by the western entrance of this village, most noticeable when entering the village from the west, from Tarrinport with a large ornate lantern hanging from each corner of the building. It's not a very loud tavern, favoured by those who value a full belly and a good night's rest.
The Wayward Wheel
- Located towards the eastern entrance of Fairhaven with an old wagon wheel hanging above the door, this large tavern tends to be the first rest stop travelers find if reaching the village coming from the city of Aerilon. It is known as a bustling tavern and inn with great food, favoured by locals and travelers alike.

- The local blacksmith is within the market, easily located by the sound of a hammer on metal or the forge's smoke. This workshop is not an enclosed building, like a roof held up by numerous pillars, however there are solid metal gates that can be used to lock up the forge.
