Thydle

Thydle is a forest-based kingdom of magic found in the south of Norlaria, in the world of Eliqueth, sharing borders with Syndon, Yne and Quint. Thydle is a coastal kingdom but is heavily forested almost right to the shoreline of the Preslin Ocean, its weather would be relatively dry if it weren't for the high concentration of magic in the area that keeps it temperate, warm and perfect for the flourishing plant life.

Thydilian's find most of their value in skills, magic and artifacts rather than gold, this kingdom is one of the first founded on Norlaria and hasn't changed much since, they continue to use their power to shape their world around them.

They value tradition and the old ways, you should respect your elders, heritage and the traditions that have been carried down through generations

Known for

Thydle is believed to be the home of all magic and anyone with magic in their blood, no matter how faint, must have ancestors from this ancient kingdom. The kingdom itself flourishes under the guide and influence of magic and most of the kingdom is found amongst the canopy of the trees

The Glimmer Wardens work for the royal family and are a highly respected job

Significant military strength, heavily focused on magic and magically enhanced weaponry

Riadin - through marriage, the heir of Thydle married the princess of Riadin but will not join them in war, disapproves of the magic in the Riadin
