Summary

Murgrin is in the most south-eastern corner of Yne, next to the Lokmar Lake. It's not a large village and only visited by travelers wanting to head to Thydle by road or people visiting The Temple of Tides and the people aren't the most accommodating. The mostly dwarven town is unbothered by the cold, but can appear as if they've taken on the cold in the demeanour instead.

Taverns

The Midnight Oil

- One of the larger buildings in town, built from a darker wood with a black painted roof, the curtains in the windows appear to be drawn closed at all hours and other than a sign above the door reading "The Midnight Oil", there isn't any indication of what this building is.

- Inside is relatively minimal, there's a bar and stools, and a couple of tables and chairs and maybe a few patrons, but the crux of this business is in being a bar for the locals, they just also happen to have rooms for lodging.

- Lorina Lapentile, a female gnome with black hair tied into two short pigtails, it looks like she's walking on the bar from a quick glance, until you realise that there is a second, slightly lower section behind the bar for her to move across and be at the eye line of the mostly dwarven patrons, she's very driven and to the point, not a fan of small talk.

- ______, male dwarf, bald with a large black beard, wears a button up shirt with rolled up sleeves with tattoos all up his arms, always keen to have a laugh and pay someone out and can absolutely take it back, husband of _____.

- ______ female elf, she keeps her blonde hair across one shoulder with little flowers dotted throughout, wears a matching button up to her husband, she's very sweet and happy to help, low level druid

Shops

Market

- Most of the products that can be found in this village aren't sold in shops, per say, they're mostly sold in the market area where the villagers sell their wares to each other and to traveling traders, making their way through, found in the middle of the village.

Hammer's Call

- Easily locatable by the plume of smoke and the sound of hammers against metal, it's a mostly open structure with only one wall where the furnace is located, the name of the shop hanging from the roof in the centre.

- _____ female dwarf, red hair tied into two tight buns low on the back of her head, proud of her work and not a fan of chitchat, however can ramble about her work or her son, her husband passed away from illness many years ago.

- _____ male dward, keeps his red hair in a long braid down his back and his beard is relatively short, enjoys company and conversation more than his mother and enjoys adding flair and creativity to his creations.

Points of Interest

Fahldirs Station

- Found near the temple, a very easy to spot wooden building, home of the Fahldirs in Kom Durahl.

- Acts as the office for the Marshal, bunks for the Fahldirs and a few cells.

- Marshal Adrick Glamiir, a dour, older dwarf male, his age shows in the wrinkles on his face and a mane of mostly white hair braided tight to his scalp with a larger braid down his back. His beard is bushy and a bit unkempt, however his uniform is kept pristine

- Jori, Arvak, Dolbar, Tuula, Lynria, Norakar.

Ironkith House

- Found near the market, built in a very similar fashion to the other buildings in the town, but easy to isolate this one due to the royal crest being carved on the door (a battle axe and a miner's pick crossed over each other), kept well maintained.

- Inside is well furnished and comfortable, not extravagant but likely some of the most expensive furniture in the village, functions as the house for the royal representative that looks after Murgrin.

- Balan, a non-binary duregar, their head is shaved and you can see runic white tattoos across all the bare skin you can see other than their face, just creeping up their cheeks. Their beard is kept short and well looked after, much like their clothing. They love their job, they're comfortable here and they look after their town like family.

The Temple of Tides

- Towards the edge of town, a very large stone structure, it's only a couple of stories tall but it is quite large and open, the second story is held up by lots of identical stone pillars that look to be etched with repeated engravings, and there's a spiral staircase towards the back that leads to the next level of the temple. Many forms of symbology of water or underwater flora and fauna can be found here, including small waterfalls and trickling fountains around the supporting pillars, several koi ponds with lily pads and lotus towards the edge, and a flickering stone reflecting a ripple effect across the ceiling in blue. A large stone statue is in the centre of this space, a turtle with blue gemstone eyes being held up by a grey waves, impeccably carved.

- Upstairs functions as bedrooms for the Elder and the acolytes that live in the temple, with spare rooms for visiting acolytes, and an office area for the Elder.

- The Tidal Elder Vistra, the Elder for the temple to Gyric, a middle aged dwarven female, two very long thick braids of black hair down her back, wearing a simple blue tunic and pants with the symbol of Gryric in the middle. She always does her best to maintain a sense of responsibility and positivity, but will always crack a wide smile at bad jokes or when small children are around

- Kelzor, a female dwarf acolyte, not quite an adult yet, blonde hair she keeps down with a few little braids framing her face, wears a blue tunic and brown pants, the acolyte uniform, apprentice for the Elder, she's very eager and willing to learn, but can sometimes be excitable.
