Location
Starwood & Stem is located on one of the more central branches that make up the Leafshadow District in Sylvara, Thydle, standing tall amongst the neighbouring stores. The popular magic shop is very well known and easy to locate despite the attached greenery blending in with the surrounding leaves.
Atmosphere and Appearance
The interior is a marvel of elven craftsmanship - shelves carved directly from the living wood house hundreds of glass vials, dried herbs hanging from the curved ceiling, and softly glowing crystals provide warm light. The air is thick with the scent of herbs and magic. Delicate silver veins run through the wood like captured starlight, giving the space an ethereal glow even during daylight hours.
Layout:
Main Floor: Curved shelves carved seamlessly from the tree itself spiral up the walls, filled with corked bottles containing swirling mists, glowing liquids, and floating petals. A central counter made from a cross-section of ancient heartwood displays the day's featured items.
The Canopy Loft: Accessible by a ladder of woven branches, this upper area houses rare components and Thessarian's private workshop. Moonlight filters through gaps in the leaves above.
The Root Cellar: Below ground, where temperature-sensitive potions and ingredients are stored among the tree's massive roots, some still dripping with morning dew.
Atmosphere: The air shimmers slightly with residual magic, and visitors often hear the gentle whisper of leaves even when there's no wind. Tiny motes of light drift lazily through the air - escaped essence from opened bottles.
Staff
Thessarian Moonwhisper, an elderly moon elf alchemist with silver-streaked hair woven with tiny glowing fungi. He has a gentle demeanour but sharp business sense.

Wears robes of deep forest green embroidered with constellation patterns
Known for his patient teaching and encyclopedic knowledge of magical flora
