Summary

Westarin is the southern-most village in Liath, sitting next to the Thilimon River on the border of Liath and Yne. Their trade mostly comes from fishing and farming, and most of the foot traffic is just people passing through. The Stiles family, a lesser noble family, overlooks Westarin and it's governance, and while most people would have a complaint or two, they do a sufficient enough job to not lose their role or sense of importance. Despite the cold and the bugs of river living, the people who call this town home are still quite cheery and happy to help.

Taverns

The Willow and the Wisp

- The only inn in Westarin, but it's large due to the foot traffic just passing through, a large stone structure right by the river, a large willow painted on the front with will o' wisps amongst the leaves.

- Inside continues the grey, green and blue colour scheme on almost every surface, but appears to have more wear and tear from general use.

Shops

Markets

- Most of the products that can be found in this village aren't sold in shops per say, they're mostly sold in the market area where the villagers sell their wares to each other and to travelling traders, making their way through, easily found in the center of town.

Leonore's Corner

- The general supply store, found close to the market

Points of Interest

Guard Station

- Found near the market, easily found even without the coiled spire that signifies the Aelivian Shrine, home of the Eternal Guard in Westarin, most of the town are quite familiar with the couple of guards of the village.

- Acts as an office for the Eternal Guard's Captain of Westarin, bunks for the guards and a few cells.

Aelivian Shrine

- Found next to the guard station, easily located by the white coiled spire that's taller than most of the buildings in the village.

- Just a very small room with a few spaces for people to sit, the whole room is painted to look like the day on one half, into sunset and twilight, into the night sky to represent the gods of Aelivia

- There is a single door other door in the room that leads to the living area for the Rector

Stiles House

- Found towards the towards the outskirts of the town, but very much in the center of the residential area.

- Largest house in the village but not by a large margin, it's more easily recognised by the successfully maintained exterior rather than the size.
